BTSADV ( NON PROFIT 501 C3 ) programs play a crucial role in supporting individuals experiencing domestic violence by offering a lifeline of understanding, resources, and empowerment. In the isolating darkness of abuse, these programs serve as beacons of hope, providing safe spaces for survivors to share their stories without judgment and to access vital assistance. Beyond immediate aid, they foster a sense of community and solidarity, reminding survivors that they are not alone in their struggles. Through education, programs, and advocacy, BTSADV programs equip survivors with the tools to reclaim their autonomy and rebuild their lives free from fear. In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, we’re extending our Holidays of Hope program to support children in North Carolina, bringing relief and comfort to families affected by this tragedy. The holidays are often portrayed as a joyful time of year, but for survivors of domestic violence, they can be filled with anxiety, isolation, and stress. Many survivors are struggling to create a safe and peaceful environment for themselves and their families, often while dealing with the lingering trauma of past abuse. The pressures of the season can amplify the challenges they face, making support even more critical.
This is why our Support Line is open 24/7 throughout the holiday season, providing a lifeline for survivors who need a listening ear, guidance, or immediate assistance. We want every survivor to know that they are not alone.
This year, BTSADV is participating in the global Giving Tuesday movement with a special campaign to help survivors of domestic violence. From November 1st to December 3rd, we’re calling on generous supporters like you to make a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence.
Every donation made to BTSADV during this period will help provide essential resources—such as emergency housing, counseling, legal support, and advocacy services—to survivors in need.

Exciting News: The “I Am Enough” Symposium Was a Powerful Event for Survivors!
We were thrilled to have Break The Silence Against Domestic Violence partner once again with BFree2Fly International for the “I Am Enough” Symposium. This virtual event, designed especially for survivors of domestic violence, was held with the goal of providing healing, empowerment, and support.
The symposium featured a dynamic keynote speaker, an insightful panel discussion, healing performances, interactive presentations, and more. It was an incredible opportunity for survivors to connect, learn, and be inspired.

We use a variety of platforms to connect survivors and families. From our social media presence to our Survivor Support Line, our volunteers are available 365 days a year.
Our BTSADV family consists of women, men, and children who are survivors of abuse and families affected by abuse. Their passion for helping others is a constant source of support and connection.
Once clients receive the additional support they need from us, they are equipped and inspired to advocate for others. Encouraging advocacy enables us to build upon our mission with a growing team of volunteers.
All it took was the strength for one domestic violence survivor, BTSADV’s founder, to tell her story for a wildfire of bravery to start. BTSADV was founded and continues to serve the mission of survivors breaking their silence against domestic violence. Sharing your story not only brings healing to yourself but helps provide hope to current victims or fellow survivors of domestic violence.
