I almost lost my mind and my life by a narcissist. It was the most debilitating and degrading thing I have ever gone through in my life. I could never have thought that someone you loved could treat you like that. I was so damaged emotionally, mentally and at times physically.. Had I not called the domestic violence hotline to leave, I dont know how i would have ended up. I am so grateful for people who understand what I;ve gone through. They say you dont know until you experience it&#8230; And when you have a child involved, it makes it harder to separate. I lost everything but I got out. Thank goodness for people who understand. I thank God for LIFE!!! It took me so long to get away but i perserved and made it. it pushed me to do makeup events for DV victims and survivors.. All I long to do now is help those that may be going through it and let them now they matter, they are beautiful and deserve to be treated with love and respect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Married to a person who verbally, emotionally and physically assaults you is not alright.
