I am a survivor of prolonged domestic violence, human trafficking, and abusive behaviors. The domestic abuse lasted for fifteen years. It was both emotional and physical. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was subject to bullying from a narcissistic friend group who, while pretending to be my friends, exploited my kindness. They used me for housing, while manipulating and gaslighting me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These so-called friends even witnessed my physical and emotional abuse and did nothing. They laughed at me instead of helping me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was taken and trafficked for two months. During which I was groomed and taken to a compound. Thankfully I safely escaped and was not abandoned by my abuser at the compound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These traumatic experiences have left me with severe trust issues. Not to mention debilitating panic attacks and overwhelming anxiety. I am deeply afraid of others and rarely choose to leave my house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The depth of the trauma is difficult to comprehend at times. The lack of friends, the lack of support I have, the lack of understanding makes it incredibly challenging to heal. Not to mention access the resources I desperately need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of these traumatic experiences, I have suffered with Major Depressive Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder, which only further complicates my life. As well as my ability to function independently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
