Karyn was the only girl in a family of two loving parents and two older brothers. She was born and raised in Colorado Springs. More than anything she wanted to work in Beauty; nails, hair, skin, make-up but she ended up being a medical assistant at an allergy clinic and just did her beauty stuff on the side. Karyn married and had two children, Abby & Gabe, whom she adored; they were her entire life. No one outside of her immediate family knew of the violence they endured at the hands of her husband until the night he killed her. We miss Karyn’s sweet, quiet voice, her caring demeaner, her giving spirit and her children will never forget the loving mother she was. We are so sad that we weren’t able to help her and we are now committed to bringing awareness to domestic violence.
