One Voice to Break the Silence for All

We started as a grassroots organization over 10 years ago. Today, we’re a worldwide organization that has become the international voice against domestic violence.

This is a place for all to come and “Break the Silence.”

One Survivor Shares Her Story

BTSADV was founded in 2011 when Kristen Faith Sharpe, a survivor of domestic violence, shared her story on social media. This opened the floodgates for other survivors to feel empowered enough to speak up and share their stories as well.
