Heather was a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter and just all around loving person. She was born 3/11/85 and tragically taken from us on 9/27/16. Her 3 children were her greatest accomplishments. She was so proud of them and everything she did was for them Scottie 11, Emily 10 and Mia 5 at the time of her death.
She was in the same abusive relationship for 14 years. She had been to many different shelters during those years but he always found her. In September of 2016 she had plans made for leaving the state of Indiana. She wanted to do everything legal because of the kids. Two days before her plan was to go into action she was attacked by her abuser, stabbed and then set fire to.
She is very much missed by me, (her mother), kids, sister, grandmother, nieces, nephews and everyone who knew her. Her kids are with me now and we are doing the best that we can to make normal lives.
