AngelFund

Since 2016, Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence has hosted a virtual 22-day fundraiser in July during Bereaved Parents Month to honor the lives and legacies of fallen victims of domestic violence.

We remember these loved ones as ‘Angels’. The Angel Fund is an annual event honoring men and women – victims who have lost their lives as a result of domestic violence. This unique fundraising event is an opportunity for families to bring awareness to the cause by sharing powerful stories all while raising funds to support our Scholarship Program, Angel Family Retreat Program, and crucial programming operations.

Angel scholarships are funded by Legacy Families in memory of their loved one and distributed to survivors of abuse through our Scholarship Program. You will have the opportunity to establish as a scholarship in the name of your angel that will allow someone to start or continue their academics at trade school, college or university.

Since 2015, we have had the honor of awarding $41,750 to students who have been impacted by domestic violence.

The Angel Fund is the perfect place for you to share your loved one and truly go the distance for the cause. Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence is committed to stand alongside you this year to create the greatest impact we could have ever imagined.

This year, all participating Angel Teams will be encouraged to host a community event during the month of July between the 1st and 22nd.
