Sarah Taurus Survivor Sister Story

For 13 years, I was in an abusive marriage. I was taught to honor my husband, so our alleged privacy was what enabled the abuse more than anything else. I kept it quiet even from my own family. My now ex-husband would pull me around the kitchen by my ponytail, drive recklessly with me and the children in the car, and shove me down the stairs to name a few. He basically brainwashed me. It all came to a head one night when he strangled me but God saved me and I survived.

I actually have quite a testimony. Please let me know if you would like me to share it. I’m willing to write and/or do a video about it. I prefer anonymity right now not because of myself but to protect my children.

Thank you, and God bless you!
