I am an almost 24 year old female who’s ready to share my story. Back in Sept of 2020, I met a man who I thought was normal. Over the course of 8 months, he slowly got worse and worse and eventually turned into a violent narcissist. For days at a time, I was sleep deprived by him on purpose. I was also s*xually assaulted multiple times. There were days where I thought he was going to “off” me. There were countless domestic violence encounters in our own home. If I had called the police, I would’ve been dead. Til one day my mother realized what was going on and she rescued me. If it weren’t for my mother, I wouldn’t be here today.
