My Story – Natalia

When I was 9 years old my dad threatened my mom to leave the house. He was extremely physically abusive. My mom told all 3 of us we had to leave, we packed the car trunk with what we could and escaped to a domestic violence shelter. Long days at the social service offices, eating meals at churches next to the homeless, and watched my mom struggle but She never gave up. She taught us all to never be a victim of our circumstances and with effort we can be anything we want. She ever gave up and now
Lives a great life.
