Jafe Danbury Survivor Sister Story

Having narrowly escaped after suffering many years of vicious physical abuse, I chose to be a survivor. As a member of an underreported demographic (a male suffering abuse by a female), I thought I was the only one, suffering in silence, isolation, shame and humiliation. After years of processing the experience, lots of healing, and reinvention, I wrote about the experience, and my survival story, THE OTHER CHEEK, was recently awarded a Finalist Medal in its Best First Novel category, in the 2020 Next Generation Indie Book Awards! I chose to share my story with the world, in the name of Awareness, and am happy knowing it has been well-received and has blessed others. Yes, there IS light at the end of the tunnel!!
