From Victim to Victor: My 10-Year Journey of Surviving and Overcoming Domestic Abuse

I was a victim of domestic abuse for 10 years from the age of 24 years old to 34 years old. I got in this relationship by being disobedient to my parents and pastor at that time. My abuser controlled every movement in my life. I was beaten every day because things he didn’t like. I was not allowed to have a key to my own house, I had to eat what he said to eat but he ate the best. This happened for 10 years until I made the decision to finally leave. Now I make it my mission to help others to go from being victims to victors by sharing my story and writing books telling others they can be free as well. By survivor
